Mike and Lyn Night

Mike and Lyn took us on a cruise around parts of the Mediterranean in a very big cruise boat.

Mikes father had, apparently, also cruised around this area, but in a submarine in WW2.

They took us to places that I knew of but had not had the pleasure of visiting. Cadiz, Florence and Gibralta to name but three. The pictures were all, of course, beautifully framed and taken and together with Mike’s commentary helped us all to form a tourists ‘need to know’ visual map of their holiday.

Mike was clearly impressed by the boat itself, we were treated to many potential ‘pattern’ shots including the loungers and various bits of boat architecture.

And then there was the ‘Spot the Swallow’ sequence which had us all smiling at shots of the birds almost dive bombing the passengers.

I know how much effort went into making the show, the choice of a musical accompaniment that matches the pictures, the timing of effects and the presentation. It really was a most enjoyable and informative evening helped by Mike’s very able co presenter: Lyn.
