A: A Projected Digital Image - sometimes called a DPI (Digital Projected Image - but this can be confusing since dpi usually refers to dots per inch - a measure of the resolution of a printer. A: By definition one colour, it's an image that contains just one tone. A black & white image is monochrome as is a sepia or any other single colour toned image.
