As I said in the "Trees" entry, I seem to be inclined towards closer detail lately, rather than wide vistas. This was taken in woods in the north of Bristol. It was taken later in the morning than I would have liked , so the lighting was not ideal and led to quite a high contrast image. There were lots of views that showed a "sea" of bluebells, but I liked the way these were gathered around the lovely tree base and "wandered" off into the wider woods. The high contrast situation led to some rather burnt out reflections, so this is certainly no competition piece - although very few of my images are these days. I simply like to represent what appeals to me when I am out and about.
