Awards Night
|
The Cordon Bleu was the highest award for gallantry given by the Bourbon Kings of France. It has since been used for recognition of excellence in many other fields. We have replaced the cheap medals of previous years with this Blue Ribbon - hope you like it. |
Awards Night - Winner of Winners & Plate Competition
Our Awards Night takes place on Friday 31st May. This will include the announcement of who has topped our league tables over our six internal competitions, for Monochrome Print entries, Colour Print entries and Projected Digital Image (PDI) entries. There will also be some other special awards presented, so do look out for those too. Winner of Winners The Winner of Winners Competition is to decide the Best Print and the Best PDI of the year. Every print and every PDI that achieve a top score in each of our six comps is eligible for our Winner of Winners Competition. Below is the list of those members who have achieved top scores in this season’s competitions. All these images will be entered into the Winner of Winners competition. Can I ask that those people listed below resubmit the listed print(s) to me by the hand in deadline of 10th May? Your PDI’s will not have to be resubmitted as I still have these images on my system. Members with winning images in any of the six monthly competitions are not eligible for our Plate Competition. |
Plate Competition
The Plate Competition is for members who have not received a top mark over this season’s comps. If your name does not appear on the list of winners (when published), you are eligible to enter our Plate Competition. There will be a Plate awarded for a Print and a Plate for a PDI. You can enter ONE print and ONE PDI. Theses can be images that you have already submitted to comps this year, or they can be completely new images. (But please, no images that have won in previous years). Please submit your PDI’s in the normal way through the web site and mark them as ‘Plate’. Please mark your prints as ‘Plate’ and submitted to me by the deadline of 10th May 2018. I look forward receiving your entries and if anyone has any questions please contact me via email or see me on a Club night.
