Interested in Lighting?
We are interested in expanding our understanding of the importance of controlling light. Whether this be with flash, studio, ambient or a mix of these our aim is to improve our techniques and use light creatively. We will meet at a time that suits us all to share equipment and knowledge and to experiment with different lighting setups. Some of our first efforts are shown below when Rosie, dressed and made up in a fifties style, posed for us on a Sunday afternoon in Aberthin village hall. We need to keep the numbers down to no more than 2 photographers per model (shooting one at a time) and we can only fit 2 lighting setups in the hall. Anyone interested in joining us should contact Andrew Coleman or Terry Verrinder. We are currently all Canon users. You may need to buy additional accessories to be able to make use the lighting setups. Taking part in these activities is entirely at your own risk. We may want you to sign a declaration to that effect. These shoots are not organised by the committee or on behalf of the committee. Other Special Interests We believe that this is the best way for our members to advance in their photography. We hope that others will get together and that from time to time these groups will present their work to the rest of the club. If you have a special interest (wildlife, seascapes, sport, street, flowers etc.) let us know and we will help you get organised. Cowbridge Amateur Dramatics Society Collaboration - see here |
