THREE
|
Normally this is a print competition but this year will have to be PDI's - submit your entries below
The images may be presented separately as mounted prints or together on one mounting board. In the former case the positioning of each print in relation to the others on the stand is of considerable consequence. In the latter case, the positioning of the three images on the single board can have significant relevance to the outcome. The mounting board colour /texture also has a bearing on the degree of harmony achieved. The three prints need not be the same size as each other nor do they need to be square or rectangular. There are no limitations on size and the images need not be presented ‘two dimensionally’ It is important to recognise that image quality in terms of tonality, noise, sharpness, paper type and all the other variables that apply to the appearance of prints, should be identical in all images in order to enhance the level of harmony they exhibit. The image must not be derived from the division into three of one original print or image. See those images marked X. There will be a prize and trophy and submissions will be judged on the night by Mike Davies, ARPS, AWPF, DPAGB. Have fun! |
